Nobody knows how it happened but after making an anonymous appearance
on electoral flaws expose Jicho Pevu the Police have tracked and
arrested the tech geek who demonstrated on video how the IEBC and
KENCALL servers were manipulated to determine the final presidential
tally results.
Though he did the revelations incognito, the tech
wizard now identified as Calvin Ogalo was raided at his home in Jamhuri
estate with about eight CID officers who are said to have ransacked the
house before arresting him and taking him to unknown captivity zone.
The
officers are supposedly investigating him on bank frauds but his close
friends and CORD affiliates are alleging the bank fraud charges labeled
against him are blanketed to hide the main intention which they claim to
be intimidation for exposing the "rigging "of elections.
"They
have arrested Calvin Ogolla for demonstrating to the world that IEBC and
KENCALL servers were used to determine the final results during the
last general election.
As you are aware, a lot of our people too have
details of how funds were transferred into the accounts of Iebc
officials, both locally and internationally. We promise to expose all
this.
In their attempts to intimidate us, and stop our plans to
petition for IEBC removal, the tribal security apparatus are now
intimidating individual cord members by arresting them with a promise of
release for their silence.
In this regard, they have arrested Calvin
Ogolla for demonstrating to the world that that IEBC and KENCALL
servers were used to determine the final results during the last general
election. IEBC LOST CREDIBILITY and must be disbanded." Says Layson a
CORD luminary.
Another member argues and reads malice in how the
Police have handled the matter, "Calvin was arrested Sunday, held
incommunicado since. His details were not entered in occurrence book,
the police have exceeded 24 hours meant to charge suspects in court, he
has bee led since Sunday, and his family cannot see him." Laments
Philemon Wesonga.
As all these tussle reigns, it has since been
established that the accused was being held at the Kileleshwa Police
custody and to be arraigned in court Friday morning with Bank Fraud
charges, he is represented by Lawyers Anthony Oluoch, Haroun Ndubi,
Norman Magaya, and Counsel James Orengo.
Meanwhile CORD supporters
have initiated an online petition for unconditional release of Calvin as
they believe it's politically motivated. The accused is said to be an
ex-NIS officer. The petition slogan is dubbed. #FreeCalvinOgalo
